The ZERO S is equipped with Zero Motorcycles’ state-of-the-art Cypher III+ operating system and offers a variety of downloadable features for performance optimization. Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) combines powerful 11-kW performance with intelligent, intuitive control.
This lets you experience effortless power delivery, confident handling, and customizable tuning of the motorcycle and powertrain—ideal for everyday use, city riding, and dynamic rides on the road.
Connectivity & Updates
Intelligent networking
The ZERO S is intelligently connected thanks to the Cypher III+ operating system and wireless over-the-air updates. You can customize the cockpit, use the NextGen app, and access modern features.
This way, you’ll benefit from future-proof technology, smart control, and a seamless connection between your motorcycle, the app, and your riding experience.
App & Motorcycle Status
The ZERO S sends important information directly to the NextGen app via the cellular network. This gives you access to your motorcycle’s status, location, charge level, alerts, ride data, and system updates at any time.
This way, you can always keep an eye on your ZERO S—even when you’re not riding your motorcycle.

If you want to indulge your passion for electric motorcycles mainly on the road, the sporty and agile ZERO S is the ideal choice for everyday use, city riding, and winding country roads.
Cockpit & Controls
With the ZERO S, you can customize your cockpit or let Zero Motorcycles’ automatic light sensors adjust the display to the optimal settings. The 12.7 cm TFT color display shows all the important information clearly and concisely.
Thanks to multimode navigation, you can quickly switch driving modes while on the road, set the cruise control, and control other functions directly from the cockpit.
Battery & Range
Z-Force 15.6+ kWh Battery
The ZERO S’s Z-Force 15.6+ kWh lithium-ion battery is maintenance-free and gives you an urban range of up to 262 km. With the optional Power Tank, you can extend the range even further.
The high power and energy density is combined with an aluminum heat sink housing and efficient heat dissipation. This ensures that the battery cells remain evenly cooled and that maximum drive power is reliably available to you over the long term.
LED headlights
Light & Visibility
The ZERO S features custom-designed full-LED headlights that provide a clear view of the road and ensure high visibility in traffic. The LED taillight with opalescent light guides further improves side visibility.
Optionally, you can upgrade the S with LED turn signals and hazard lights so that your direction changes remain clearly visible even in low-light conditions.
Security & Control
Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control
The ZERO S features the proven Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) system, which combines dynamic acceleration, optimized stability, and a confident riding experience. This ensures you remain in complete control on a variety of road surfaces and in changing conditions.
The braking system, supported by the MSC system, features large brake rotors: 320 x 5 mm in the front and 240 x 4.5 mm in the rear. This ensures powerful deceleration and precise braking control.
Suspension & Comfort
A perfectly balanced driving experience
The ZERO S is equipped with high-quality Showa suspension components: a 43-mm big-piston fork up front and a 40-mm shock absorber with a reservoir at the rear.
Preload, compression, and rebound damping can be adjusted at the front and rear. This allows you to tailor your bike perfectly to your riding style and current conditions—for precise handling, a high level of comfort, and a truly enjoyable ride.
