The XE is powered by a powerful 74V 58Ah lithium-ion battery that can be charged either directly in the motorcycle or externally. The battery can be removed in seconds, allowing for convenient charging at any power outlet. With a standard 220V connection, charging from 0 to 100% takes just 5.5 hours for the 4.3kWh battery. For those who need a longer range, the battery can be swapped out for another full battery in no time at all.
DASHBOARD – Compact, intuitive, versatile
The compact 2.4-inch TFT color display of the Zero XE offers a clear display and intuitive operation. There are three driving modes to choose from: ECO, Standard and Sport. In addition, various functions such as hill start assist, recuperation rate adjustment, camber sensor, traction control, cruise control and reverse gear can be selected and adjusted from the display’s menu.

The Zero XE’s 15.5 kW permanent magnet motor is not only powerful, but also efficient. It is complemented by a compact reduction gear, which is specially designed to significantly increase the torque at the rear wheel. With an impressive torque of 635 Nm, the XE sets new standards in the off-road category. This combination of state-of-the-art engine technology and sophisticated power transmission ensures explosive acceleration, maximum control and a driving experience that convinces even in extreme conditions.

The fully adjustable suspension of the Zero XE has been specially tuned from the factory to meet the requirements of North American and European riding styles as well as different terrain profiles. It provides first-class comfort and control at both the front and rear – no matter how demanding the terrain.
The Zero XE’s rear brake is conveniently controlled by the left hand, allowing for precise fingertip control. The two-piston calipers, equipped with a 220 mm disc at the front and a 203 mm disc at the rear, work with DOT hydraulic motorcycle brakes. These guarantee a high degree of safety and control even in challenging driving situations.
