In order to start the new season safely and like a real professional, there are a few things you should pay attention to when you go back on the streets after the winter break:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batteries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If an electric scooter sits around for a long time and is not used, the battery may discharge during this time. It is therefore important, before the first trip into the new season, to fully charge the batteries once and reconnect them to the scooter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reifen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to be safe on the roads even after a long break, it does not hurt to check the tires according to the air pressure. The guideline values range between 2.25 and 2.5 bar for the front tyre. At the rear it should be between 2.5 and 2.9 bar. It is also important that you mount either the summer tires or all-season tires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brake and light check<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if the brake discs should work perfectly even after standing around for a long time, it can not hurt to take a short brake test before driving. To do this, accelerate a few meters and brake again to test the front and rear brake discs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
